We had bookstudy this morning, and nearly missed it entirely because we missed the shuttle to the airport...again. There were about 25 people there, with some missing. Upstairs they held the Twe group bookstudy (at least twice as many bodies) with a special program for bookstudy since they have their Circuit Overseer visit. One really nice thing about the bookstudy here is that there is no break between the study and the intro to the service meeting. We went from the end of the study to who needs territory or partners. The assumption being that all will want to participate. It's very invigorating. We got out the door late, and didn't make it to the appointment I'd made for noon until around 12:45 I think. No one home, but I'll try next weekend again. We spoke to a lot of nice people, regardless.
I got some good advice on which buses to take from our soon to be new home. I still need to figure out how to navigate all that. I'm comfortable now with our current route, but they have quite a maze of bus, train and metro line, and you can travel any combination thereof. On the train back today, the conductor not only announced the destination of our train in no less than 6 languages, but he also let a little girl announce each stop. In two languages. Why don't we (American's) have to learn multiple languages???
